1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to StageStory, operated by Carbo Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the StageStory mobile application or website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our application.

2. Description of Service

StageStory provides a digital Playbill, theatre diary, and stage tracking application designed for theatre, musical, opera, and playgoers. Features include:

• Digitized ticket stub and program photo archiving
• Dramatis personae and cast listing organization
• Understudy, cover, and swing performance tracking
• Season recaps and theatre attendance statistics
• Show wishlists and performance notifications
• Personal performance ratings, notes, and tags

The service is provided "as is". Carbo Studio reserves the right to update, modify, or enhance features of the app at any time.

3. User Conduct & License

Subject to these Terms, Carbo Studio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use StageStory for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

You agree not to:

• Use the application for any unlawful purpose or in violation of local laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the app
• Scrape, harvest, or extract automated data from the application or its servers
• Circumvent or tamper with security measures, subscription checks, or digital rights controls
• Share premium account access or subscriptions outside allowed App Store family sharing rules

4. Intellectual Property Rights

App Ownership:
StageStory, including its software code, logo, brand assets, user interface design, and custom graphics, is owned by Carbo Studio and protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

Third-Party Trademarks:
All production titles, playbill artwork, venue names, theater companies, and trademarked show titles mentioned or referenced within the app belong to their respective copyright and trademark owners. StageStory is an independent companion tool for theatre enthusiasts and is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by any specific theatre production company or venue unless expressly stated.

User Content:
You retain full ownership of your personal notes, attached photos, ratings, and ticket stub images created within the app.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

In-App Subscriptions:
StageStory offers optional premium subscriptions (StageStory Pro) unlocking advanced feature sets. Subscription rules:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
• You can manage, adjust, or cancel your active subscription anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

Refunds:
All billing and refund requests are governed and processed directly by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android). Carbo Studio does not process financial transactions or issue direct store refunds.

6. Cast & Show Information Disclaimer

StageStory provides automated AI Cast Lookup tools to assist playgoers in organizing show information. While we strive to maintain accurate cast listings, theatre productions frequently change cast schedules, understudies, and covers. Carbo Studio is not liable for errors, omissions, or last-minute cast substitutions made by theatre companies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carbo Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, or memories resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to StageStory immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or the service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.

10. Changes to Terms

Carbo Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of StageStory after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
